Many adventures found in novels, movies, and even in comic books began with someone imagining the impossible, improbable, and the delightful antics in the mind.
We all have the power to imagine what isn't and go places never thought of yet.
However, no matter how strange we can imagine the heroes, the villains, the plots, the plot twists, or the secrets of the main characters found in novels, nothing can compare to the insanity of reality. Reality is often so unbelievable that it would make a lousy novel. Novels must be believable; reality is not is not required to be believed.
Look closely at the picture in this blog post. resting on the iron wall décor are tiny candy corns. They tell a story. Pictures hold our memory for ransom that a lifetime can not pay. Novels echo with reality and form pictures in our minds. Those closest to the writer will understand the candy corn and the silent story it tells, but no one else can. Same as in reading a novel that someone close to you wrote, you will see the candy corn and possibly understand, but will never know all the details.
Writers hide within their writing while sharing with others the secrets without giving them away completely. Yet, not all that a writer hides is reality. They may hide their dreams, wishes, and have fun with apparent insanity as if poking a hornet's nest with a short stick.
One day, someone will come here and respond and I will faint. (or have to delete this last statement)
Have a great day
